What: Andy Kostka Memorial Skate.

Why: Pay tribute to Andy, and join Andy’s wife Betsy, daughter Brynn, and family and other skater peeps as we remember Andy.

When: Saturday, July 13

Start: 8 or 9 a.m., depending on when you get there and how long you plan to skate.

Where: Elm Creek. Meet at the trail head by Lifetime Fitness parking lot in Champlain. Take Highway 169 to 120th Ave. (Target will be on the east and Lifetime Fitness to the west.) Take 120th Ave. West past Lifetime Fitness to the northwest corner of their parking lot. Click here for more specific directions. All skill levels are welcome, multiple pacelines will form, and different distances will be skated by different pacelines.

Lunch: There will be a post skate lunch and toast to Andy at Buffalo Wild Wings (not far from when we’re skating, just south of Lifetime Fitness 11580 Theater Drive Champlin, MN. Phone: 763.427.9464). If you have an Andy story to share be prepared to share it with the group.
