An unofficial ‘do it yourself’ marathon for skaters, free and just for fun (roll at your own risk), inlines, quads, and bikes welcome, during a camping weekend at Fort De Soto Park. The course is a 3 mile loop along the East end of Anderson Blvd that overlooks the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Bont will donate prizes for top 3 overall male and female finishers on skates. Post skate beach barbeque, as well as group dryland/plyo workouts, kayaking, etc. Many of us will be camping out over the weekend, very nice facilities with electricity, water, showers, restrooms, etc. If camping, reserve your campground early, $30/night up to 6 people. Each spot has a barbeque pit and picnic table. Average temps this time of year high 70’s, low 60’s More info here:
